It started with a simple question.
Why is it so hard to find one good dress?
Years ago, I watched my wife spend three weekends scrolling before a wedding she had marked on the calendar for months. ASOS had over 15,000 results that day. The dresses she liked were either £200 from a label she didn't want to wear once, or pieces she'd regret in a month. She ended up borrowing one from a friend.
Halvine started right after — not as another brand making more dresses, but as an edit. A small selection picked carefully for British women: dresses you actually want to wear, not just look at.
What Halvine is today
Halvine is a small UK-focused brand built around the dress. We don't try to be everything; we pick a tight collection — around twenty styles at any time — for the British wardrobe: weddings, weekends, holidays, the office, the days you just want to feel like you.
We choose each dress for its cut, its fit, and the way it feels in the hand. We add to the collection slowly, only when a piece feels worth picking up.
How we keep prices honest
Every Halvine piece is sourced and dispatched through an overseas fulfilment partner. Once your parcel reaches the United Kingdom, a UK final-mile carrier — Royal Mail, DPD or Evri — brings it to your door. That's how we can offer a £40 midi dress while staying picky about what makes it into the collection.
We cover every import duty, tax and customs charge ourselves. You will never be asked to pay an additional fee on delivery.
The trade-off is the delivery window: 7 to 13 business days, not next-day. If you need something for next weekend, Halvine isn't your shop. If you have a wedding in three weeks and you want a dress you'll keep reaching for, it is.

Halvine is the trading brand of ARELY PROPERTIES SAS (registered name: “Holding ARELY PROPERTIES SAS”), a French simplified joint-stock company (Société par actions simplifiée) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number RCS Paris 884 431 198. The company was founded in June 2020, is headquartered in Paris, and runs Halvine as one of its commercial activities.
